We have now activated our mobile offices, business activities will continue as usual.
The Prime Minister had announced the Level 4 Covid-19 alert will be activated in 48 hours. As we have mentioned in our latest newsletter, we have a plan in place. All our staff have started to work from home, as of this morning. Crystal Payroll Team are available on the phone as usual if you need help from us. We will continue to operate remotely until it is safe for all our staff to return to work. We are doing all we can to keep our staff and their family members safe.
We understand dealing with the Convid-19 event is stressful for business owners and their employees. We have created a tool for our customers to deal with capturing “Convid-19” Leave and capture the relief payment type. Inland Revenue New Zealand has just issued the following media release for employers.
“If your business is unable to pay its taxes on time due to the impact of COVID-19, we understand, you don’t need to contact us right now. Get in touch with us when you can, and we’ll write-off any penalties and interest. It would help a lot if you continue to file however, as the information is used to make correct payments to people, and to help the Government continue to respond to what is happening in the economy.”
