Crystal Payroll allows four different levels of costings: Branches, Departments, Jobs and Job Numbers.

Using our cost centres feature, you can generate a range of simple and comprehensive reports that allow you to better account for works performed. The cost centre feature also allows you to assign individual hours within their timesheets to be placed at the appropriate centre, and have this reflected in reports appropriately.

Comprehensive reporting
If an employee is being paid from different bank accounts correlating to their branch or department, then you can establish these bank accounts so that the payment file is altered correctly, and the employees are paid from the relevant account.

Should an employee work between multiple cost centres, you can assign individual hours within their timesheet to be placed at the appropriate centre, and have this reflect in reports appropriately.
Leaving nothing unaccounted
All of our costing functions integrate effectively with accounting systems.

You can establish account codes and sub codes that pertain to each centre, which will split the gross earnings accordingly. You can also choose whether you would like the KiwiSaver company contribution to be split between cost centres too.
